Welcome to No Limits Academy
My name is Angela Walters Harris, and after more than thirty years dedicated to education, pastoral leadership, BTEC development, and supporting some of the most vulnerable learners across the UK, Spain, and the UAE, I founded NLA with one clear belief:Every young person deserves an education that sees them, understands them, and never gives up on them.
Throughout my career, I have led alternative provisions, built vocational pathways from the ground up, mentored countless students through crisis and recovery, and trained teams in safeguarding, mental health, inclusion, and pastoral care.
I have worked with school refusers, anxious learners, children navigating complex home circumstances, SEN students, and those who simply needed someone to recognise their potential beyond their struggles.
What I have learned — again and again — is this:
Students do not fail.
Systems fail to adapt to them.
No Limits Academy was created to change that. Here, learning is flexible. Support is personalised. Expectations are high — not in pressure, but in belief. We prioritise human connection, emotional wellbeing, and purposeful pathways that build confidence and open futures.

ABOUT BTEC
BTEC qualifications are internationally recognised vocational qualifications from the United Kingdom that combine academic study with practical, real-world skills. Unlike traditional examination-based programmes, BTEC courses focus on coursework, projects, presentations, research, and industry-relevant assignments, allowing students to demonstrate their knowledge through a variety of assessment methods.
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is equivalent to three UK A Levels and provides a recognised pathway to higher education, professional training, and employment opportunities worldwide. Successful completion of a Level 3 qualification allows students to apply for university degree programmes in the UK and many international institutions.
Individuals wishing to continue their studies, the Higher National Diploma (HND) is a Level 5 qualification that is equivalent to the first two years of a university degree. The HND combines advanced academic learning with practical industry experience and is highly valued by employers and universities alike.Upon successful completion of an HND, students can often progress directly into the final year of a bachelor's degree (Top-Up Degree) at a university, enabling them to achieve a full honours degree while benefiting from a more flexible and career-focused learning pathway.
BTEC Higher National Diploma
At NLA, our programmes are designed as a clear pathway to university and future career success. The BTEC Level 3 qualification provides students with a recognised pre-university route, equivalent to three A Levels, enabling access to a wide range of undergraduate degree programmes in the UK and internationally. Students progressing to the HND gain a university-level qualification equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor's degree, creating an affordable and flexible route to higher education.Throughout their studies, students receive personalised tutor support, guidance with university applications, and advice on future education and career destinations. For those choosing to complete a final-year university Top-Up Degree, including online study options, NLA continues to provide mentoring and academic support to help students successfully transition to university and achieve their full degree qualification. Our goal is to ensure every student is equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to progress to their chosen university, career, or professional pathway.
